Hello
Mr.LeMarl,
Thank you for your generous words.
Several of us in the office having been big admirers of Klunky
Klipman and of course the ever popular Bobby Venus.
It's been a while since we've had them up in this area.
Would it be possible to have them or even one of them up here
in the Boston and maybe New York City area to do a small touring
engagement with one of our talented long standing recording
artists Tony D'Wonderful?I think either one would go over well
together with Mr D'Wonderful. We would also feel happy to have
Mr.D'Wonderful or any of our other original performers spend
time down in your neck of the woods. If everything works out
and it is profitable and of course comsumer friendly maybe a
U S tour could be arranged.
I've seen Bobby Venus latest H B O comedy special.They've been
running it all month. Why the hell don't they give him his own
series?I know he had a short series on ABC a few years ago.Let's
face it he's more cutting edge than Chris Rock and more appealing
than most of the counter culture comedians out there today.
I thought I heard something about another Bobby Venus movie
that's in the works? I really enjoyed his last one The Man with
the Golden Tongue.I was reading in some film trade magazine
how it had to be edited to get a R rating.
I'll send you the list of some of other performers by the end
of the week. You may find someone who you think could be of value
in the Miami Beach area.

Good
morning Mr Hipple,
Thank you for your interest in Klunky Klipman and Bobby Venus.
And I am a big admirer of Tony D'Wonderful. I think a Bobby
Venus appearance with the great Tony D would be an exciting
event. Bobby's current schedule is pretty tight. He is making
another movie ( working title is "Man With the Golden Nose"
) and he is also spending 16 weeks at Vegas this year as well
as his annual winter tour of the Gulf Coast and the Yucatan.
Klunky Klipman, on the other hand, is available immediately.
Klunky is proud of that. His old biz cards before he signed
on with me had the slogan "Anywhere...Anytime...No gig
too small".
I agree about Bobby Venus and TV. He might be a little too sharp
for network, but cable? Why the hell HBO won't put him on I
really don't know, but I am working on it. And what about Tony
D? Now if this was 30 years ago when Perry Como, Tony Bennett,
Dinah Shore, all had their own shows, then you know there would
have to be a Tony D'Wonderful show. But this current TV environment
with those "Reality" shows and all that drama and
comedy. Not one singer now with his own show. It's decadent.
Not like the old days at all.
Please send me your list. I will give it my full attention.

Good
evening Mr. LeMarl,
Tony D'wonderful just went out to Vegas on Sunday. He's gonna
be out there untill Halloween.
Maybe if the're out there at the same time they could arrange
a meeting.
How about what happened with Siegfried and Roy last friday
? It looks like Roy Horn should be okay but it was a terrible
thing to happen to one of Vegas's finest performers.
I'll get the real lowdown when Tony gets back.
I've seen one special with Mr Venus on HBO but never a series. That's
what I think he deserves there.
It may be a good idea to get him something on Showtime.Don't
go to Cinimax. As you know Cinimax is owned by the same company
that owns HBO.
It might give you a little leverage for Booby at HBO and Cinimax
in the future.
I think we can certainly do something with Klunky up here.Sometimes
a change of area can revive or at least boost a career. There's
a local cable station in Lowell called LTC that I'm sure I can
get him into.
A good idea maybe to give him his own show and let him do some
production projects too. There's a lot of tricks I'm sure he's
learned on all those old T.V series he appeared on in the fifties. On
the local scene in Lowell he could be a good influence.I'm sure
he's got a million stories.We might have a show where he's telling
his tales.Get a young side kick and see what happens. If it doesn't
work out I know a promoter in Saco Maine that may be interested
in buying his contract.
If you can assist with his lodging while he's up here it would
help a great deal.I've got client that takes in boarders for
the RBP.It shouldn't be more than $50.00 a week.
Any consideration will be appreciated.
I agree the Reality shows are ruining T.V. as we use to know
it.They've become the Jerry Springer of night time television.
I'm working on something now to get Tony a series on A+E.It
could be a turning point for him if we get a good time slot. He's
gonna play a detective something like a cross between Mike Hammer
and Columbo but with a modern twist.
I've got two of the best writers in the business from Hybrid
Creations. They just finished a four year run with a show on
CBS called Life in the Fast Lane about a Race car driver that
moonlights as a cab driver cause he's in love with the italian
female dispatcher on the third shift called Gina Spoolungi.Tony
had a guest spot on one of the shows. That's how I got to know
the writers.
Before I forget I want to thank you for you permission to promote
one of your clients Itty Bitty Movies in our area. We'll be working
on getting an Itty Bitty Movie festival sometime in the future.
I'll have my assistant get together our list of other clients
and get them to you on my next e-mail.
As always it's a pleasure getting the chance to network with
the terrific talents you represent and your kind consideration
during the upcoming months of our mutual appreciation.I think
with the abilities of both of us it could be the year we've
been waitng for.

Good
morning Mr Hipple,
Yes, the Roy and the Tiger incident in Vegas was very tragic.
You know Florida has more exotic pets per capita than any other
state. Our warm climate I suppose. But I worry constantly. My
neighbor has a 20 foot boa constrictor. Now who needs a snake
that big? Who needs a snake at all?!
I'll pass the word to Bobby Venus about getting in touch with
Tony D in Vegas. Bobby has occasionally proposed a deal without
my knowledge, but I have warned him about that and I am sure
you understand as well that anything he might say would just
be an idea he was floating and not a final offer. I am sure
you intend to make any business arrangements between ourselves.
Klunky Klipman carries his home with him. He lives on the road
in a Winnebago. If there is a spare parking space available,
then he will have his lodging. Your client that takes in boarders
sounds like a good alternative and I will pass it on to him.
I am impressed with your ideas using Klunky and I am sure he
will be thrilled. A word of warning: alcohol. A weakness of
his. I am sure you know how to handle it as you have worked
with so many performing artists. It's under control. He needs
a little to perform, but not so much that he goes manic. Balance
and moderation, eh?
Congratulations to you on Tony D'Wonderful's new series on A&E.
You are really a go-getter. You are making my artists envious.
They want to switch agents. Just joking. I have their contracts
locked up so tight they would never get away with it. Only my
little joke.
I share with you a hope for a glorious and productive collaboration.
Give my regards to the wonderful Tony D and of course your very
helpful RBP staff.
